2023 Woodlawn Run for a Cause

The Woodlawn Run for a Cause is back again for year 17. Over the past 16 years, we have welcomed more than 3,000 runners and walkers, and raised more than $200,000 for local charities. This year we hope to add to our total in support of Hope’s Door and Gigi’s Playhouse.

The race will begin at 10 am, and t-shirt and bib pick-up will be from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at Healy Field (on Van Cortlandt Park E at Kepler Ave). The race will begin at Healy Field and end at Indian Field. Awards and kids run to follow, and the after-party will be at Rambling House.

We have some bittersweet news to share: 2023 will be the last year that our committee will be hosting the Woodlawn Run for a Cause. It has been an amazingly rewarding 16 years, and we are grateful for everyone who has helped us to make such an outstanding impact along the way: runners, walkers, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, planners, and more.
